October and November were eaten up by ill-heath and endless building and painting works at home – so little work was done.  A few things emerged.  In the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness:-

Patchwork Pear – terracotta clay glazed in greens and yellows and low fired to keep the brightness of the glazes.

Red Onion – black clay and varying depths of red poppy glaze with burnt orange – low fired to keep the redness bright
